Down Memory
Lane

Down
Memory Lane in the 70's in the Philippines, our first Boxer was from a
litter out of a US CH bitch sired by Int. Ch. Millan's Fashion Hint SOM
LOM, imported while pregnant into the Philippines. We named her "Abad's
Chances are of Millan." She became a champion and reigned as the
No.1 bitch in the Manila show ring. When I arrived in the United
States in 1980, two years later, I tried to research the address of the
American Boxer Club, inquired about where I could locate Michael Millan,
the handler of the Famous Fashion Hint. I was able to locate Mike
Millan at St. Petersburg, Florida. They had a female brindle puppy,
after several months, when they were moving to Georgia, they called me
and decided to sell the puppy. I bred this bitch later to the
then top stud of Ohio, CH. MERRILANE'S APRIL FASHION, SOM, LOM owned by
Coleman Cook. My bitch developed mastitis after the pups were born
and I barely had one puppy saved. I got back into the Boxer when
I moved to Marianna, in the Florida Panhandle in 1995.
